Transcript
This is the site of a possible Nazi safe haven in northeastern Argentina, thousands of miles from Germany.
The ruins may have served as a hideout for Nazis fleeing Germany after World War 2.
The university’s Daniel Schavelzon, says clues left behind like German coins and porcelain stamped with the words “Made in Germany”, support his conclusion that this was once a Nazi hideout.
The ruins are located near the Paraguay border in the province of Misiones. A number of high ranking Nazis, including the infamous Dr. Josef Mengele of the Auschwitz concentration camp, were among those who fled to Argentina after the war.
The identities of those who found refuge at this particular site are still unknown.
